Architecture overview ANVA 4/5 is the beating heart of your business operations. On this page you will discover how to integrate the hybrid cloud architecture of ANVA solutions into your application landscape. This is how you realize your own ANVA ecosystem based on the highest possible quality, continuity and reliability.
The diagram above shows, based on our hybrid cloud setup, the positioning of ANVA 4/5 and adjacent ANVA solutions. Together with your linkable peripheral applications, these form the heart of the ANVA ecosystem.
Target architecture
To set up your own ANVA ecosystem, you combine ANVA 4/5 with various ANVA partial solutions. In addition, you link ANVA 4/5 to ANVA partner solutions and other applications to create one collaborative ecosystem. Predictable, scalable, secure and stable. The way you do it we call the ANVA target architecture. You can read more about that below. Our target architecture includes explanations, guidelines and focal points to provide your organization with the strongest and most stable ecosystem possible. As an ANVA customer, we expect you to follow our target architecture.

Distinguished features To provide your own data warehouse or peripheral applications with ANVA data:
Use copy data outside of your ANVA production environment Suitable for copy layers of database records and your setup data Current and historical data in view (non & near real time) Choose full dumps and/or incremental extracts Execute at scheduled times or manually, locally and in the cloud

Guidelines Apply this method of extracting:
When you want to reuse data from ANVA 4/5 in bulk elsewhere If outgoing one-way data is sufficient for your application When a data refresh rate of about 10 minutes is sufficient If you want to work locally or offline, complementary to cloud processing When you need an intermediate database or data warehouse in-house To perform queries at high volume and frequency This solution is available through three options:
1. ANVA Extract (raw data).
Installed by an ANVA employee Export in CSV format 2. ANVA Data Platform - Operational Data Store (raw data).
Free to use for ANVA administrators Various output options Contains raw and unstructured data from ANVA4/5 Both record data and setup data Read more on this module page 3. ANVA Data Platform - Datamart (DM).
Free to use for ANVA administrators Various output options Contains modeled relational data from ANVA 4/5 (checked, merged, structured and enriched) Both record data and setup data

Security & Compliance The following applies to the use of these solutions:
ANVA Extract is an on-premise solution and is customer server based. As a customer, you are responsible for the security and compliance of the environment. The ANVA Data Platform and the Datamart are ANVA supported solutions where data from ANVA 4/5 using ANVA Extract and TLS encryption is sent to an Amazon Web Services S3-bucket cloud environment. This environment is securely and compliantly, hosted within Europe. The following access options and cost conditions apply: 1. ANVA Extract As an ANVA administrator, you request this solution from Customer Support, and an ANVA employee will initially set up the setup for you.
There is no initial cost to use and set up ANVA Extract. 2. ANVA Data Platform ODS Your internal ANVA administrator can give you access to the ODS layer of the ANVA Data Platform.
There is no initial charge for setup. Use is based on a fair use policy as included in our terms and conditions. 3. ANVA Data Platform Datamart Your internal data platform administrator can give you access to the Datamart.
There is no initial charge for setup. Use is based on a fair use policy as included in our terms and conditions. When you want to exchange real-time and/or bi directional data from ANVA 4/5 with ANVA partner applications and other applications based on a customer process to be executed, you can choose this method. Similarly, when you want to process or enrich data externally and potentially write the results back into ANVA 4/5, this is the right approach.

Distinguished features Enrich or process data in real time outside ANVA:
For all integrations with CRM and agent portal systems For online pricing and compliance checks due to slot actions For accounting links and email integration via our MS Outlook add-in For VNAB insurance exchange links with e-ABS and iDOS For links like Carglass, Autotaalglas and your telephone system

Guidelines You apply this method of linking:
If you want to exchange real-time data from ANVA 4/5 with other systems If the infrastructure of your ANVA application server can properly handle the use of these techniques When you know exactly which records you want to read, edit or write If you allow records in ANVA to change via actions in other systems If the support on the external, to ANVA, application to be connected is arranged If you know how to engage our support in case of unexpected disruptions This solution is available through two options:
1. Direct standard couplings on ANVA 4/5 (without ANVA Hub).
Fixed functionality, operation and configuration The link is version-dependent and works through different protocols 2. XML module (via ANVA Hub).
Using various standard APIs, configure which data you want to send, check, edit or write back in ANVA Version-independent, based on REST XML and REST JSON Read more information about the XML module here

Security & Compliance Depending on the solution, these characteristics apply:
On the Developer Portal, always refer to the applicable specifications Furnish everything safely according to the relevant instructions Ask your questions to Customer Support if something is not clear Outside of our ANVA solutions, your organization is responsible for the security and compliance of systems to be connected/connected Access and cost for real-time processing:
1. Direct ANVA 4/5 links Configuration through ANVA administrator. There are no additional license fees; data user fees may apply.
2. XML module links Access, linking and configuration of ANVA 4/5 and ANVA Hub are provided by your ANVA administrator.
As a client, you are responsible for setting up required XML and JSON messages, security and system setup yourself Implementation costs depend on complexity, number of links and degree of doing it yourself Maintenance and support is through the Service Level Agreements from your agreement with ANVA If you deviate from the prescribed target architecture with your setup, you will be charged a data processing fee Using this method, your designated ANVA 4/5 users can independently create manual exports of selected files and cross-sections of your data and setup.

Guidelines You apply this method of exporting data:
If you want to make users happy with manually running exports If you want users to be able to make BI selections online If you make managers independently responsible for their data quality When using copy data is sufficient (real time & near real time) When other options with bulk exports are cumbersome or too large This solution can be used in two ways:
1. Standard reporting and selection system on ANVA 4/5.
Fixed functionality, operation and configuration raw data Works with raw data Selection options: standard, full file or manual entry Export the results to Excel 2. Business Insights reporting and selection tool.
Flexible functionality, operation and configuration Works with processed data Make any selection you want, online in your browser Easily recognize which records in ANVA contain which information View the selection on your screen, in Excel or schedule output by mail Read more on this module page
