Insurance Business Analyst

ANVA is launching a modern, state-of-the-art SaaS platform for the insurance industry called ANVA 6. As a Business Analyst within Team Business, you will apply your process knowledge of insurance and technical expertise. You will act as a specialist liaison between the business and IT stakeholders. This is a hybrid position for 32-40 hours per week at our office in Amersfoort.

Your role

With the launch of ANVA 6, it is important that insurance products are quickly added to our new SaaS platform. We expect you to bring knowledge of insurance and be able to translate that into a process. You will develop process diagrams and then translate them into technology.
You will also translate insights into clear user stories and requirements that fit the ANVA strategy and product vision. Together with the Product Owner and the scrum team, you will be an indispensable link in our process. You will take ownership of the refinement sessions with the developers to clarify and elaborate on the user stories, so that they are optimally prepared for development.

By always planning a few sprints ahead, you ensure that the development team can continue to work efficiently and deliver results on time.

As our new Insurance Business Analyst, you will recognize yourself in the following:

  • You have experience with insurance products and processes.
  • You are a process specialist who can develop clear process diagrams and customer journeys and communicate these to various stakeholders, such as product owners and engineers.
  • You can clearly articulate requirements and create structured user stories.
  • Low-code experience is an advantage, and you understand how software development works.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • You demonstrate ownership in identifying issues and finding effective solutions.
  • You are comfortable with agile working methods and know how to achieve short turnaround times.
