Your role at ANVA
As a Data Engineer, you will work on the ANVA DataPlatform: the beating heart of our data-driven organization. This platform supports both our existing solutions (ANVA 4/5) and our newest SaaS solution (FinLife). Together with a multidisciplinary team you will build robust data pipelines, smart migration solutions and strategic innovations within Snowflake.
What will you do?
- Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Snowflake and Matillion
- Maintain and improve data processes within the platform
- Collaborate on our data migration factory from ANVA 4/5 to our new SaaS platform FinLife
- Experimenting with new techniques and thinking about the future of our platform
- Translating technical issues into clear, practical solutions
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and DevOps specialists
- Pick up DevOps tasks such as monitoring, automation and performance optimization

- Our (data) Product Owner
What do you bring?
- HBO/WO work and thinking level combined with a relevant education
- Extensive and relevant experience in data engineering or BI engineering
- Strong and demonstrated knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT processes and data modeling
- Experience with Snowflake and Matillion (or similar platforms)
- Affinity for Python and Agile/DevOps working methods
- Pre: experience with SaaS, multi-tenant systems or the insurance industry
