Your role
As Product Owner Finance, you are the link between business and technology. You translate complex insurance processes into robust financial solutions and work closely with our Engineering Manager, Business Analysts, UX Designers and other Product Owners. You will report directly to our CPO and work functionally with our CTO.
You will be responsible for the financial system that manages the entire flow around policies and claims - from billing and collections to payments and integrations with external accounting systems. Accuracy, compliance and scalability are key.
Whatyou bring with you
You have experience with:
- Financial systems within insurance or fintech
- Large-scale transaction processing
- Financial flows of premiums and claims
- SEPA standards and reconciliation processes.
- Integrations with external accounting systems (EDIFACT, XML/JSON)
- Compliance, tax processing and auditability
- Exception handling and bulk processing
- Develop a clear product vision and backlog management
You are our new Product Owner if you:
- Have at least HBO working and thinking level and have experience in a similar role and environment
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Have knowledge of IT architecture, low-code and design principles
- Be familiar with Lean Startup, Marty Cagan and Rich Mironov
- Work Agile and be organizationally sensitive
- Always curious about the latest software developments
