ANVA believes it is important that children receive good education about money at an early age. We are therefore the proud first sponsor of the Financially Fit Kids Foundation.
"We strongly believe in the importance of financial education from an early age. By helping children build their financial literacy now, we are investing in a better future for everyone," says ANVA CEO Max Mouwen. Initiator from ANVA, Daan van der Lugt adds, "Contributing to the Financially Fit Kids Foundation fits very well with what ANVA stands for, namely keeping the Netherlands financially fit and healthy. We are delighted to enter into this partnership."
The Financially Fit Kids Foundation provides financial education in elementary schools. The foundation offers guest lectures and chairman Femke Hogema has written a children's book about money titled, "The Journey to Wealth. The goal is for every child in the Netherlands to receive this book by the time they are in grade 8. This means reaching 180,000 children a year. "Thanks to the support of donors and sponsors like ANVA, we can achieve these ambitious goals," said Hogema.
ANVA's contribution to the foundation is multifaceted. In addition to purchasing thousands of books for targeted children, ANVA employees will also provide guest lectures in elementary schools.
