In these times, taking an outing with the family is a welcome change and certainly not an unnecessary luxury. Unfortunately, this is not a matter of course for everyone in the Netherlands. Voedselbank Amersfoort recognizes this and offers families help. ANVA gladly supports this initiative and visited.
The Food Bank is known for its food packages, but it goes beyond that. Voedselbank Amersfoort also offers help for needs such as a new children's bicycle or a swimming pool subscription. If they can't solve it themselves, they help people find the right agency.
With the money donated from ANVA, family outings can be supported even more. It gives small projects room to continue.
In addition to these projects, the Food Bank distributes food packages to more than 600 households. Interested in helping? On Tuesday and Thursday evenings, Voedselbank Amersfoort is still looking for people to pack the packages. Contact the organization for more information.
