Caribbean Roadshow: Connection, progress and trust in the Caribbean

In early October, Alwin Smale, Product Marketer and Account Manager for the Caribbean, traveled to Curaçao and Aruba. His goal: to acquaint customers with the latest developments surrounding ANVA 6 and to strengthen cooperation. During individual customer visits on Curaçao and the ANVA 6 Meet-up on Aruba everything came together: knowledge, innovation and connection.

Close to customers, even far from home

Once a year, ANVA visits clients in the Caribbean. Not just to transmit, but mainly to listen and engage in conversation. All the customers together here form a distinguished ecosystem of their own for ANVA. "We find it important to speak to each other in person," Alwin explains. "To know what's going on, how things are going and what could be improved. This time the trip was all about ANVA 6. Showing, explaining and, above all, looking ahead together."

The Curaçao clients were visited individually. "One by one inspiring conversations that included time for the now, but also an eye for the future with ANVA 6. Glad I was able to surprise many positively with our developments," says Alwin. "For the first local insurer we have meanwhile even already started an ANVA 6 inventory!"

During the Meet-up in Aruba, customers received a comprehensive explanation and joint demo of ANVA 6. Organized with the team of our premium partner ISC, we met at their office. Here all questions surrounding ANVA 6 were addressed and discussed. Alwin showed how the new platform works, what collaboration with partner solutions looks like and what exactly the migration to the cloud means.

"It was great to see customers interacting directly with each other," he enthuses. "Ideas were spontaneously exchanged about how ANVA 6 could complement and improve their processes. You literally saw pennies drop and people get excited."

An open conversation about the future

The atmosphere was convivial, with room for questions and dialogue. Of course, it was also overwhelming for some, but Alwin believes in the right perspective:

"Yes, the change is big. No, it's not scary. I am confident that together with ISC and our customers we are going to fix it."

Together with ISC, which is responsible for day-to-day support and project-based implementations in the Caribbean, they are looking at how customers can grow step by step toward ANVA 6.

Building the next step together

The ANVA 6 Roadshow was the first of its kind in the region, but certainly not the last. The involvement and enthusiasm of customers gave energy for more. "I went there to look for the connection," says Alwin. "I definitely found that."

"My highlight? The honest and open conversations with clients who are just as eager to look to the future as we are. Together with the ever-present humor a huge pleasure to dedicate myself to this client group."
