Wednesday, May 6, ANVA's shareholders meeting approved some changes to its Supervisory Board (SB). Wim Diepenbroek steps down after 5 years and Coen van Ham joins the Board in the position of Chairman. Wim Heeres who has filled this role in recent years will remain active upon request to properly induct his successor.

Coen van Ham has been active in the insurance industry for almost 30 years, mostly in managerial positions. After law school and military service, he started his career at AEGON. There he held various management positions, including general manager of Nedasco. In 2007, he switched to the intermediary business as managing director of Kettlitz & Deenik anno 1892, later Kettlitz Wulfse. After taking over Kettlitz Wulfse, he has been managing director of Vanbreda Netherlands since the beginning of 2017. He was a board member and chairman of the NVGA and chairman of the Noordeloos Group, now NLG.

Speaking about his appointment as Chairman, Coen van Ham said, "I am honored to be asked to join the Supervisory Board. ANVA fulfills an indispensable role in the business operations of a very large part of the intermediary in the Netherlands and has a rock-solid and leading position in the proxy channel. I look forward to contributing to the further development of the company as supervisory director. Especially in the coming period, in which our market is changing rapidly and ANVA is responding to this by becoming the connecting platform for advisors and underwriters, large and small. Customers partly rely on ANVA's technological developments to achieve their goals."

We thank Wim Diepenbroek for his commitment to the SB. During his time as supervisor, he paid particular attention to the satisfaction and involvement of ANVA users. The SB now consists of Coen van Ham (chairman), Wim Heeres and Gerrit Oosterhof.
