On May 1, SIVI released the latest version of the ADNBRA industry code list. This list includes 56 new codes, some changes in names and a new hierarchy structure. The list now covers more (sub)industries in the financial sector.
To improve data exchange in practice, SIVI has created a list of AFD definitions for services and products. This "AFD Definition List Standard" is regularly revised due to market developments and the wishes of stakeholders. This is new industry code list in simplified view.
SIVI is an independent institute that creates, manages and monitors standards for digital processing in the Dutch financial services industry. Using these standards improves data exchange within the chain. This reduces costs, improves and accelerates processes and makes the field more scalable. Read the background on the latest industry code list ADNBRA.
At the start of UIV, the Association of Insurers (VvV), the NVGA, Stichting SIVI and software suppliers such as ANVA signed a declaration of intent to improve data quality in the insurance industry. These agreements concern the uniform organization of proxy portfolios in the chain and the easier exchange of data between parties and systems. This way we reduce the complexity within our industry. In the Protocol Uniform Organization Volmachtketen (Protocol Uniform Organization Volmachtketen) the agreements were first established between the VvV and the NVGA. The list AFD Definition Standard of SIVI is the practical implementation of these agreements. The Stichting Uniforme Inrichting Volmachtketen (SUIV) supervises the implementation of the standardization agreements among all parties in the power of attorney chain. The umbrella project with all parties involved is called Uniform Inrichting Volmachtketen (UIV).
The new branch codes are read in while installing the content package via our Content Distribution, path BC. To categorize the new codes correctly in ANVA afterwards, install the appropriate patch for your version on release version: 52.P03, 53.P01, 53.P02 or 53.P03. In release 53.P04, these changes are firmly delivered. On ANVA Help, watch the video and our explanation on mapping and setting up AFD lists in ANVA.
