'Together' is one of ANVA's core values. In addition to being there for each other as colleagues, this also means that we enjoy contributing to society. As part of this socially responsible work, colleagues helped out at a number of polling stations around the country last week. We speak to Stephan and Maurice about their experience.

Maurice: "My day started early with getting the various items ready and mapping out the walking route, after which I took my place behind the desk. Soon the first people came by to cast their votes. It was nice to be busy with my hands like that for a change."
Stephan: "I also enjoyed the change from my normal job. My job was to count votes in Amersfoort. We counted about 7,500 votes with a group of about 36 people from nine o'clock until half past four."

The compensation received will be donated to charity on behalf of the men and will be received soon.

Maurice: "My contribution goes to the MineMark Foundation. This organization provides education to children in post-conflict areas. By teaching children about what to do with explosive remnants of war, they hope to empower locals to avoid the dangerous areas and thus make the world a much safer place."
