The use of ICT systems, and certainly their connection to the Internet, in addition to a host of benefits, also carries a number of risks; from viruses to sabotage and industrial espionage. Data protection is therefore an absolute necessity. Also for ANVA, because after all, large amounts of data of our users run through our systems
For example, as you read in our last magazine, ANVA software is transforming itself into a cloud solution in the future. That movement has begun with ANVA CRM, and with the introduction of ANVA Analytics and ANVA Rules, the transition is gaining momentum. To be well prepared for this, embedding information security into ANVA's business and development processes is a must.
In late 2016, ANVA therefore began the process of obtaining ISO 27001 certification. After a period of defining, anchoring and tightening information security in our processes, we implemented an Information security management system (ISMS). We were pleased to find during the course of this process that information security at ANVA was actually already pretty well established. With the certificate, we can now demonstrate this. At the end of April, the independent auditor Dekra assessed the ISMS and certified it according to the ISO 27001 standard.
This ISO certificate confirms that ANVA has its information security processes in order and that your data are in good hands with us. Incidentally, we have also contractually committed ourselves to this in the ANVA processor agreement we enter into with our customers. Although this does not eliminate the risks, you can rest assured that we continue to take appropriate precautions to protect (personal) information from misuse, loss or theft. Now and in the future.
