In cooperation with the Uniform Inrichting Volmachtketen (SUIV) Foundation, ANVA has been busy over the past year developing uniform policy screens for all private non-life insurance policies. Now that almost all private screens are ready for use, we are taking the next step in further development making the screens even easier to work with.
During the development of the uniform policy screens, ANVA arrived at the current design of the screens in collaboration with our customer panel. Still, there is room for improvement. The current necessary revision of product definitions by insurers also gives us the space to incorporate all feedback received from our customers into the first generation of screens and definitions.
Currently, all uniform screens are industry-specific. This means capturing information that all companies use. While this offers advantages, this method of capture adds complexity and time. In response to this customer feedback, ANVA has made the decision to make the uniform screens company-specific, which means that only the labels specified by the companies need to be recorded. So you no longer get a uniform screen specifically for car insurance, but a screen for car insurance from Nationale Nederlanden, for example. In this way, working with the screens becomes even easier and simpler. Of course, you can add the labels you want to use extra on the tabs provided for that purpose.
ANVA takes into account a lead time of three months for the conversion of the current 260 policy screens. Obviously, we have great dependence on the speed with which the companies deliver the cleaned AFD definitions to us. The delivery and information of the updated screens will take place in the usual way.
Of this conversion to company-specific products, ANVA will provide text and explanation to the trustees on how best to handle this. Also depending on the extent of label adjustments on the new screens.
In addition to this refinement of the uniform screens, we discussed with several companies and SUIV our ideas on further development. We think it is important that the uniform policy screens contribute even better to the end result, the policy sheet and the recording of the required data. SUIV and the companies have responded positively to this and this will gradually lead to the AFD definitions being extended even further with all the attributes needed for pricing, acceptance and output for the policy sheet. This will give you an even better overview in future versions and all the necessary information will be in one place. We will continue to adjust our screens accordingly and provide sufficient information about the changes via delivery. This way we will keep improving the screens constantly. Our advice now with implementation is not to wait for these final steps, they will be extensions that are easy to add.
