Coen van Ham (born in 1965), a native of Brabant, has served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board since May 2020. Together with his fellow board members, he oversees the company’s operations, paying particular attention to ensuring that the company’s strategy and product portfolio align with the needs of the insurance market.
After completing his law degree and military service, Coen began his career in the insurance industry in 1992 at AEGON in The Hague, where he held various positions in the property and casualty insurance division. From 2002 to 2007, he served as managing director of the service provider Nedasco in Amersfoort on behalf of AEGON. In 2007, he chose to become an entrepreneur and became a partner at the consulting firm Kettlitz Wulfse Verzekeringen in Nieuwegein, where he focused primarily on advising medium-sized companies on property and casualty and income insurance. In 2017, Kettlitz Wulfse merged with Vanbreda Nederland, the sister company of the Belgian industry peer Vanbreda. From that point until his departure in December 2024, Coen served as CEO of Vanbreda Nederland. He subsequently remained affiliated with the company as a supervisory board member.
Throughout his career, Coen has held various executive and supervisory positions in the insurance industry. Among other roles, he served as a board member and chairman of the NVGA trade association, chairman of the NLG partnership, a board member of the Financial Services Foundation, and a supervisory board member at several financial services providers.
Since early 2025, Coen has once again been actively involved in the family business—a manufacturer and supplier of confectionery and chocolate products—just as he was in his younger years.
Coen is a lover of Italian culture and cuisine, and can therefore be found in Italy quite often.

Jelle Hüner (1962) has been a member of the Supervisory Board since February 2021. In his role as a supervisory board member at ANVA, Jelle focuses primarily on ensuring that the company’s strategy is effectively implemented, particularly with regard to the technological choices and approach used to renew the product portfolio.
After completing his studies in Business Information Systems, Jelle began his career in 1987 as a UNIX expert at Siemens in The Hague. By the turn of the century, Jelle had developed a growing interest in IT management and had progressed from programmer to director. Since 2001, he has served as an IT director, CTO, CIO, CEO, transition manager, and strategic advisor at the executive level in both the private and public sectors. In the private sector, he has worked primarily with Dutch publicly traded ICT companies, such as Ordina, Pink Roccade, Getronics, and TSS. As an Associate Partner at the Galan Group, Jelle works in the public sector, primarily for executive agencies such as the Tax and Customs Administration, the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV), the Central Judicial Information Bureau (CJIB), the Immigration and Naturalization Service (IND), and the Education and Training Authority (DUO). Since 2021, he has also served as a supervisor at ANVA.
Jelle always works at the intersection of business and IT and specializes in organizational and management improvement for complex organizations where ICT/IV plays a key role.
Jelle cycles and works out to stay healthy, but it’s not a huge passion of his. What is a passion, however, is leadership philosophy—exploring it in depth and sharing this knowledge and experience with others.
