Lead Product Manager

As Lead Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product direction of a key component of our new cloud platform and will lead the business analysis team that supports it. You will report directly to the Head of Product and serve as his subject-matter sparring partner.

You don't focus on individual features, but rather on determining which generic capabilities the platform needs to best serve the market. In doing so, you align customers, development teams, and commercial stakeholders.

You ensure that the new platform offers the functionality customers need today, while at the same time paving the way for a scalable future. You translate a complex, historically evolved domain into consistent, future-proof platform choices.

Your Responsibilities

• You determine the product direction for your part of the platform: which features should be generic, what is a true must-have, and which customizations do not belong on a scalable platform.
• You will lead the business analysis discipline in terms of both content and process and complete the transition to independent specialists who add value both early in the process (analysis and discovery) and later on (testing, documentation, and deployment).
• You will strengthen the team's independence and professionalism and help the discipline continue to mature.
• You ensure functional coverage on an ongoing basis, so that missing essential features are identified early on and do not come to light only during customer implementations.
• You will take ownership of user acceptance testing (UAT) and its integration with data migration processes within the product domain.
• You’ll work closely with stakeholders from client organizations, development, and sales throughout the entire process, and stay the course when interests diverge.
• You’ll make AI an integral part of product management and business analysis and help the team successfully adopt this way of working.
