You own the data platform that enables our clients to gain insight into their own organization, including productivity, commercial results, efficiency, and portfolio performance.
Customers can obtain these insights via APIs, directly or through an intermediary, and via integrated BI tooling within the platform itself. This is not a supporting layer, but a proposition in itself, with room to grow into an independent product. You determine which insights we offer, how customers access them, and how we generate revenue. You work in a duo with the Engineering Manager, who is responsible for engineering within the team.
ANVA wants to set the pace of AI in insurance software, not follow.
On the data platform, we make that ambition concrete: AI that makes patterns in a portfolio visible, signals anomalies before customers discover them themselves, and answers questions about the organization without anyone having to build a report first.
We expect AI to be a central part of how you work and ask you to show what you have built with it during the application process.
Your Responsibilities
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for the data platform as a customer proposition.
- You determine which insights we provide regarding productivity, commercial results, efficiency, and portfolio insight.
- Develop the ways in which customers obtain that information: via APIs, via intermediaries, and via integrated BI tooling.
- Develop the proposition into an independent product with its own revenue model.
- Deploy your AI to deliver insights that customers would not extract from their data themselves.
- You work with commercial colleagues on positioning, pricing, and market introduction.
Your milestones
In your first year:
- Is there a published roadmap for the data platform as a proposition, supported by Product Management and Commerce?
- Customers obtain insights via both the API and the integrated BI tooling.
- Has at least one new insights product been successfully launched on the market and is actively in use?
- Is there a substantiated revenue model for the proposition?

Who are you?
You understand data platforms *and* how to turn them into a product that customers actually want to buy. You are just as at home discussing data models and APIs as you are with the question of what an authorized agent or insurer is willing to pay for. You think in propositions, not reports. And furthermore:
- HBO or WO working and thinking level, with demonstrable experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager of a data platform or data product.
- Experience with marketing data, for example analytics, BI, or data as a commercial proposition.
- Insight into how customers consume data via APIs, intermediaries, and built-in tooling.
- Sufficient technical depth to make sound decisions regarding engineering.
- AI is already central to how you work, and you can show what you have built with it.
- Affinity with insurance or the financial sector is a plus.
