For many trainees, the transition to insurance and ANVA software was big. 'With hardly any knowledge of insurance, the trainers laid a solid foundation that allowed me to get a flying start at FGD,' says Wybren Nauta. Fabian Rosendahl of Ecclesia adds, 'I don't come from IT or insurance, so everything was new to me. It was immensely nice that in the first weeks a lot of knowledge was shared about how the insurance world works.'

Jackelien Hueskes, who will soon start working as an application manager at Alpina, emphasizes the intensity of the program. 'The traineeship was very comprehensive, with a lot of information in a short time,' she says. Robert Heilhof of Licent agrees: 'In six weeks, we saw and learned a lot about software. Now it's time to let all the puzzle pieces fall into place in practice.'
What the trainees remembered most during the traineeship differed for everyone. For Wybren, the process walking through product construction proved most useful, while for Fabian application management was most interesting. Jackelien appreciated the fun dynamics of the group. Wybren: 'A moment that will also stay with me for a long time is when two consultants went underwater by canoe in the cold canals of Amersfoort.'
All in all, the good explanations and practical skills gave the trainees an excellent start. 'I am looking forward to starting at my new employer Vrieling in January 2025,' says Dorine Soede. Robert hopes to make many strides with guidance from his colleagues at Licent. Jackelien is focused on prolonging at Alpina, while Fabian will focus on incoming tickets at Ecclesia. 'And in the future probably also a bit of AVG.'
