This is what you will do
- Security Strategy: Define and manage ANVA’s IT security roadmap and translate it into concrete actions.
- Stakeholder management: Collaborate with the CTO, architects, Product Owners, developers, and testers to achieve security goals.
- Security maturity: Continuously improve the security of our software development lifecycle, cloud environment, and CI/CD processes.
- Risk Analysis & Consulting: Identify technical risks and recommend appropriate security measures.
- A bridge between policy and technology: help teams implement security measures and embed security into daily workflows.
- External partnerships: Maintain relationships with security partners such as penetration testing providers and vendors of security tools.
- Security awareness: promote awareness of information security within the organization.
- Reporting: Report on security developments and risks directly to the CTO.

Salary and Benefits
A salary commensurate with your seniority, experience, and impact; for this role, the maximum gross annual salary is €95,000 (based on a 40-hour workweek). Who are you?
You are an experienced IT security professional who effortlessly bridges the gap between technology, processes, and people. With your expertise in secure development, cloud computing, and compliance, you ensure that security isn’t just a policy on paper, but is actually integrated into the way we work. In addition, you are and have:
- Extensive and relevant experience in IT security, having worked with development, architecture and platform teams.
- Experience working agile and integrating security into these processes, think threat modeling, security testing.
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure), CI/CD and the software development lifecycle.
- You will be the point of contact for technical security questions and perform architecture and secure design reviews.
- Strong organizational skills: planning, prioritizing and working independently.
- You are results-oriented, persuasive and decisive.
- You can translate compliance requirements into technical measures and actively contribute to implementation.
- Familiar with security frameworks and standards such as CIS, NIST, CSA, ISO 27001/27002, OWASP.
Extra interesting (but not required):
- Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP or CCSP.
- Experience with SOC2.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry and/or ANVA software.
