


Thoma Group has nine branches, 120 professionals and a wide range of services in insurance, mortgages and pensions. The desire to bring risk analysis and product mediation closer together had long lived within the organization. "One process, one conversation, one flow, that's how you can really help customers," Erik says.
For their service provider offices, that integration had to happen as well. "We want everyone to work with the same quality and the same information. WeGroup's advisor portal, linked to ANVA, helps us tremendously with that."
The impetus for change was clear: the old system was quitting. But the real challenge lay deeper. "There were too many separate steps, too many transfer moments between colleagues, too many e-mails, too much manual work, "Erik says. "Making a risk analysis and finally filling a client's insurance needs did not flow smoothly into one another. That had to change."
Thoma was already working with ANVA 4/5 as its back office and was also using WeGroup's risk scan. That collaboration provided a solid foundation. "We already knew WeGroup, and knew that their risk scan aligned well with how we assess risks. That gave us a head start."
During the market survey, it quickly became clear that WeGroup not only matched the content of the consulting and mediation process, but was also the best match technically. The official link with ANVA gave confidence for now and for the future.

Because we link for the Compare & Close module on the ANVA data platform to retrieve and synchronize product definitions, double management of products is a thing of the past! That two-way link makes the whole process faster and more consistent."
For Thoma, that was exactly what they were looking for. "WeGroup uses all data from ANVA directly for consultancy. And because WeGroup is an official ANVA partner, you can be sure that the link will continue to work properly now and in the direction of ANVA 6. We wanted a solution that is sustainable. Nobody is waiting for another system replacement in three years."
"It's sometimes bizarre how fast we can work now," says Erik. "Before, it took weeks before a product was live. Now we arrange it within a few hours. We wouldn't have dreamed of that beforehand."
Advisors and intermediaries always work with the same up-to-date ANVA data. More than 75% of all processes now run through the advisor portal. Customers notice it immediately: "They are helped faster and our process is much more efficient."
Internally, the new way of working creates calm and job satisfaction. "People can focus on real customer questions again. The repetitive work is gone. That gives energy."
The foundation is solid and is now being built on. Thoma is now working on the second phase: the nice-to-haves. "Our ultimate goal is to link the risk analysis to a comparison," Erik explains. "Then you can give advice directly from one report and present the customer with options. That's going to make it even stronger."
Additional computing functionalities are also on the wish list.
"We are not there yet, but we are now building on a foundation that is right. That makes all the difference."
