ANVA's customer domain takes the stage during the Customer Contact Quiz

Within the customer domain, we are always looking for challenges and improvements. Sometimes things are also good the way they are and we should, above all, continue that. This applies, for example, to our participation in the Customer Contact Quiz. Over a week ago we therefore participated again in the 2023 edition.

Last year, for the first time, we participated with Customer Support in the Customer Contact Quiz. Together with over 60 companies, we then tested our knowledge on the online platform. With our team we came 15th at the time and we are still proud of that. This year we invited the entire customer domain to participate, with effect. Not only Customer Support, but also consultants and colleagues from Marketing and Sales participated. On the platform, everyone created an avatar for themselves and we started practicing. This year we could also challenge each other and play small battles. This created energy and connection between the teams within our customer domain.

Taking part is more important than winning

On September 28 the quiz took place and on September 29 we stood expectantly at the award ceremony. Of course we thought it would be great fun if we surpassed our achieved success of last year, but that was not the goal. After all, we at ANVA consider work happiness very important. We measure it weekly among all our employees and our team F.I.E.S.T.A. (which stands for Fun Is Essential, So Take A Break) provides a fun activity for all colleagues every month. Participating in an initiative like the Customer Contact Quiz fits in very nicely with this.

Another reason is that we, like many other companies, are constantly looking for new colleagues. We believe that our participation in the Customer Contact Quiz is a great promotion for our company towards the job market. It sets us apart from others with respect to salary and working conditions.

Job satisfaction

So enough reasons to participate again in 2023, to challenge each other, to compete and above all to have a lot of fun. We started the quiz with a team of 13 colleagues. Our winner is Niels Stoof, closely followed by Theo Kreuning. Personally I found it very nice to see that our consultants as new participants managed to score well. A total of 1,300 participants participated this year, four of my ANVA colleagues reached a place among the first 500.

So no podiums this year either, but proud that we participated again. The quiz was tougher than last year and we spent less time on it. My lesson for next year? "Make it more of an event again, make sure everyone has time for it and that it is even more alive!". Who knows what that may bring us! 😉
