A recurring task every year is to close the year and open a new fiscal year in ANVA. But how was it done again? The ANVA Help and the ANVA Knowledge Base offer help!
To be able to close the fiscal year in ANVA, you must first handle as preparations all entries and payments received for the fiscal year to be closed. Also the financial processing for prolongation, claim and debtor entries, one-time and other entries and ANVA journalizing must be run. In addition, a number of operations and checks must be performed in fixed order. Visit the ANVA Knowledge Base for a step-by-step tutorial for the easiest possible year-end closing.
As you know, a number of changes await us early next year. For example, starting January 1, 2021, there will be a registration requirement on agricultural vehicles. This registration requirement applies to agricultural and forestry tractors, agricultural and forestry trailers, interchangeable towed equipment, limited speed motor vehicles (MMBS) and mobile machinery (new category). Read how to set this up in ANVA Backoffice in the ANVA Knowledge Base.
In addition, starting next year, it will be mandatory to include an address in invoices sent to the United Kingdom, as the United Kingdom will no longer be part of the European Economic Area (EEA) after the Brexit and the transition period thereafter. In the 49.P06.10, there is going to be an extension of two address lines, namely 'Address' and 'Place'. Keep an eye on the release schedule to know when this release is available and what will change.
As a final change, Aplaza will be working with a new platform as of January 1. This means that we will start communicating with new URLs. We are also releasing a solution for this in the 49.P06.10 and patches for all supported ANVA versions. After installing this release or patch you still need to update the user data in pad BOAR 'GIM management'. Choose 'Initially fill user data in APLAZA from ANVA 4/5'. Read more about this in ANVA Help.
