Increase your ANVA knowledge with the ANVA Academy

Due to the wave of consolidation in the insurance market, the number of ANVA administrators is decreasing. There are several reasons for this. Consider administrators retiring or changing roles due to rationalization. As the complexity of larger ANVA environments increases, so does the need for additional training and education of ANVA solutions. The reason why we started the ANVA Academy at the beginning of this year. Naomi Stol (Lead Consultancy at ANVA) and Koen Zeggelaar (Account Manager at ANVA) tell more about it.

Training employees and administrators is not new. Nevertheless, changing customer needs call for a new approach. For this reason, the strengths of consultants, Customer Support and account managers were combined for the ANVA Academy. Naomi: "Due to the changes in our market, the desire for subjects is also changing. From administrators to loss adjusters and from beginners to advanced users: the Academy offers a total package for all users."

Training at every level

The creation of the ANVA Academy brought together 50 years of ANVA knowledge. The goal of the courses is that users get everything out of ANVA so that they can optimally serve their own organization. They learn exactly how ANVA works, where to find everything and how to make optimal use of all its functionalities. At the same time, different knowledge levels are taken into account. "After organizing a number of basic training courses, we have expanded our offer with management courses: from basic to in-depth," says Koen. The basic courses are especially suitable for new employees, while the in-depth management courses focus on specific topics such as forms and selections, product construction, prolongation or stock exchange.

Always in development

In order to best serve customers, we continuously monitor desires around information needs. "With the changes in the market, we also see a change in content desire. Not every user likes to read a large amount of text in our ANVA Help environment. For answering the how, what and why questions, we have therefore added tutorials to the environment, for example," Naomi says. Our training offerings are also always evolving. For example, for the content of the training days at our office we look closely at the frequently asked questions from Customer Support and the knowledge level of the participants is always tested in advance. "Of course, there are also possibilities for training at the customer's location. That's a piece of customization, where we determine together how we design the course. The advantage is that you work in your own ANVA environment, which makes the practical situation even more realistic," Naomi concludes.

Enthusiastic participants

Over the past six months we have trained over 100 students with an average rating of an 8.4. We also noticed this enthusiasm during the ANVA Fest on Oct. 12. Here customers could take a trial class, from which many new registrations immediately followed.

"During the ANVA Fest, I took a trial class. That gave inspiration to start the Academy within our own team as well. We want a number of key-users to take the training, so that we also increase our ANVA knowledge internally. At the same time, I think it would be nice to be able to bring in our practical situations during the course. In this way we create a nice interaction together," says Marvin de Bruin, Senior application manager at AON Insurance.
