Acquisitions are now a continuous commonplace in the insurance industry. As long as parties continue to acquire each other, portfolios must be merged and converted. Preferably, of course, to ANVA. A nice and challenging job for us as consultants is to guide our clients. We have been doing this for years, but want to continue to improve our services in this area as well. Wondering how we do that and what we can do for you? You can read it in this new blog from the customer domain.
Our colleague John IJzerman has been busy making sure we have a good conversion report. In it we coordinate what we do and do not convert, how the translation tables are put together and what the consequences of choices are. A very fine tool to align expectations and at the same time a fine thread during conversion. A report with findings follows. This report can be completed by the client during testing, after which we pick up the findings to update them. This automatically creates a nice overview with the status of the conversion.
Of course, the conversion is not truly successful until all findings are green. If that is the case, we update the conversion report and deliver it to the client as a final version. In doing so, we like to ask at that time how the conversion was liked. This way we can measure whether our service is up to scratch or whether we have steps to take to become an expert in this field. We do not only focus on knowledge, but also on a pleasant cooperation with our customers.
At the same time, we have several customers who largely perform conversions themselves. We would also like to continue to support them. In recent months, our colleague Sander van der Burg has been busy setting up a new conversion street. This helps us to convert better and more efficiently, but it also offers a great opportunity for our customers. He likes to tell what he has realized:
"Currently, there are many tools floating around to enrich ANVA or mutate policies. These tools do not cover all the components for a conversion, so a conversion cannot be done completely. When it does succeed, the risk of errors is higher due to the use of different tools. The new conversion street works on the basis of fixed inputs, which ANVA will process into ANVA files. With this street, all items - except invoices - can be converted. Because the input can be prepared by customers themselves, less consultancy needs to be purchased."
In short: we continue to grow as a Customer Domain here as well. Want to know more or have a conversion of your own that needs to be implemented? Feel free to contact me.
