Good news: the Exact Online 2.0 pilot has been completed! The pilot we started at the end of June focused not only on implementing technical innovations, but at the same time also removed bottlenecks from the connection. As a result, this pilot was a great example of how different teams within ANVA work together.

Purpose and need

First, let's take a step back. Because why did we start this pilot? In order to realize the original idea behind ANVA Hub (working more efficiently and especially smarter from the cloud), it was necessary to take the next step in our renewal strategy. Because without this step, it is simply not possible to ensure the continuity of the Exact Online connection within the ANVA platform in the cloud.

ANVA's development team therefore focused specifically on two goals during the pilot. Besides renewing and improving the communication between the ANVA system and the Exact Online platform, they also focused on improving the user-friendliness when using the link on a number of specific items. Central to this were always three key points: continuity, quality and efficiency.

Results and outlook

During the pilot, two insurance offices and implementation partner SVC validated whether the new link worked satisfactorily and properly. Product owner Remco Brouwer says: "Looking back, I am very proud of the result! The pilot sometimes surprised us, but we were always in control and took our responsibility where necessary. I would therefore like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone who contributed to this!".

Now that the pilot is complete, the task is to properly facilitate the transfer from development to management. Remco's team is committed in the coming period to:

  • Inform and activate her ANVA sales colleagues;
  • Provide our Back Office colleagues with a complete handover;
  • To start the actual rollout of the Exact Online 2.0 link i.c.w. our service desk colleagues and implementation partner SVC;
  • To implement a phase-out plan for the current Exact Online link, which will be completed during 2023 (more on this later);
  • Organize an evaluation of Exact Online 2.0 pilot with all stakeholders.
