"Ultimately, your work should just be fun"

Alwien Geerts of Geerts Adviesgroep was looking for an automated system so that repetitive work no longer had to be done manually. DDi was a good fit for these needs. The RPa platform gives him a calmer start to the day, without a full inbox. Together with Björn from DDi, he tells us more.

DDi worked with ANVA this year to transition all ANVA DIS offices to the DDi RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Platform. The RPA platform allows users to digitally read and index all incoming documents such as emails (including attachments), mail pieces, Aplaza messages and FinConnect smart forms. The seamless connection to ANVA Hub gives you a faster and easier workflow. Documents are automatically placed in the right place in ANVA Hub. Alwien, like the various ANVA DIS offices, also uses the RPA platform.

The robot makes it possible to place all incoming documents directly into the correct ANVA file. That way you don't have to do any repetitive work yourself. Alwien: "Putting different documents in view is not why you are a consultant. DDi's robot can pick up this work. Because the files are now always in order, a lot of time is saved. Time that can now be put into the more complex parts of the job. Your inbox is a lot emptier in the morning. Then you get to work much more energetically. I already get feedback from colleagues that they go to work a lot happier. It gives peace of mind to no longer have to perform these tasks yourself."

Implementing the RPA Platform itself is not complicated. The changed way of working is. Björn: "Normally we like to work together at the customer's location. Because of the corona crisis we now know very well how we can also support this digital transformation remotely. Because of the fine cooperation we still managed to implement it quickly and well." You do have to give that implementation enough attention, Alwien warns. "My tip? Put a project leader on it who is immediately on standby for questions and can make changes on the back end, but also make decisions. Then it can be taken care of quickly. That worked much better for us than having it on our agenda as a 'side task' for months.
