ANVA has started the Direct Claims Processing (DSA) pilot for ANVA Backoffice. Upon completion of the pilot in late September, DSA claim files will be available for implementation.

With Direct Claims Settlement (DSA), a consumer reports his or her claim in an accident between two passenger cars when the consumer is only third-party insured and the other party is liable directly to his or her own insurer or authorized agent. This makes it easier for consumers to complete the claim report quickly and receive compensation. In addition, they can go to their own trusted insurer or authorized agent and you can offer higher added value to your customer.

In September's ANVA Backoffice release, it will be possible to record that the claim notification is a DSA Recourse claim by entering a new code field in the General Claims data. The indication DSA Verhaal will be included in NVGA-Volmacht files Financial and Claims. In ANVA Backoffice, it is also made possible for GA/Insurer to record a second type of DSA. You can record in the claim file that it is a DSA Liable in the General Claims data (code DA). We will support the new DSA functionality retroactively from release 50.P01 and patch it in all subsequent releases.

Pilot started

Even though DSA is ready, it is important to make sure the implementation goes off without a hitch. This is why we are first releasing DSA within a number of pilot offices. We support the new claims handling from the beginning optimally and without workarounds, so that you have as little extra work as possible. Once this pilot is complete, the DSA adaptation will become available to everyone. This is expected to be at the end of September. So you can implement DSA in the fourth quarter of 2021.
