At the end of August, we already wrote about the diary study that took place to improve ANVA Hub for advisors already during the pilot phase. In two weeks, through daily short assignments, 10 pilot offices and 16 colleagues checked our new solution especially for financial advisors and provided us with very valuable feedback. But in the meantime, what was actually done with all the feedback provided? Our product designer Saskia is happy to update you!
Improved usability
Over the past few weeks, we have been critically reviewing the ample amount of feedback that has been submitted and seeing which points we pick out first. I would like to share a small summary of the main points of interest:
- The desired enhancement to quickly add contract components was relatively simple to implement, but perhaps had the greatest positive impact on users. Through the diary study, we found that this functionality was difficult to find. As a result, users were getting stuck in registering contract items, even though this is among the most important functionality in ANVA Hub for consultants. Users can now easily advance to adding a contract part after adding a contract. Adding a contract component later is now easy to find.
- We received a lot of feedback during the diary study on missing contract input fields and contract components. We have done additional analysis on current contracts, such as non-life insurance and mortgages, to meet the demand of our users. We are also starting to develop contracts to capture life insurance and banking products, for example.
- A big win-win situation: changes are now visible immediately after saving, without having to reload the page first. Several users reported that it was confusing that changes were not immediately visible, causing changes to be entered twice. This confusion has now been removed by showing the changes immediately.
- Our users get to see a lot of data within ANVA Hub for consultants. Relationships, contracts and work lists are some examples. As a result, ANVA Hub is full of data tables, among other things. The diary study showed that the table functionalities were not easy to find because each table looked and worked slightly differently. Therefore, we are now busy replacing all tables with a generic table. This will take away a lot of searching and make it easier and faster for our users to work within ANVA Hub.
- We have made data entry more user-friendly in a number of places. For example, initially entering a phone number was difficult because the country code field was too large. This gave the impression that the phone number had to be entered there and led to error messages. This is now a thing of the past. Entering marital status 'Single' is now also clearer. A nice progress!
- Based on the feedback received, we adjusted the display of relation names. Here, the old phone book still came in handy. In fact, we copied the new view from it. This makes it easier to find the right person and allows users to work faster on ANVA Hub for advisors.
In addition, we always offer our users the opportunity to suggest new improvements to us. Depending on the improvement, we work with the product owner, service desk and consultants to see what we can and/or cannot pick up. We are always open to feedback and wishes to continuously improve ANVA Hub. We would like to invite you to think with us.
